William Shakespeare (Baptised 26 April 1564; died 23 April 1616) was an Englishpoet and playwright, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's pre-eminent dramatist. Mr. William Shakespeare's Comedies, Histories, & Tragedies is the 1623 published collection of William Shakespeare plays. Modern scholars commonly refer to it as the First Folio.
